Cluck'd
Cluck’d prides itself on being a comfortable, funky food shop that’s all about the chicken. Opened in 2023 by two brothers who spent 15 years working in the food franchising business, Cluck’d positions itself as a mid-budget, fun chicken shop that focuses on treating staff like firmly, making sure costumers are filled with nutritious, flavourful food, and creating a relaxed atmosphere for the residents of Norwich.
They aim to cater to those who want to get the most for their money and know that not everyone can afford to spend a fortune. Their ability to mix affordability, taste, and comfort shows that they understand both the world of franchises and how to respect the customers that will help make them successful.
The Challenge
Cluck’d approached us at CMG to get eyes on their new brand through the setting up, strategic development, and managing of the brand’s social media accounts, specifically TikTok and Instagram. The goal was to position them as a must-try in Norwich’s mid-level fast food market. The purpose of using social media was to encourage the interest of paying customers within their target demographic with the goal of making them loyal brand enthusiasts. With there being no shortage of fast-food options we had to position Cluck’d as an enticing alternative to more established, well-loved brands such as Nando’s and KFC.
The Solution
We started by conducting in-depth market research including target audience consumer practices and competitors within the Norwich area. On the back of this, we began to develop their brand persona and how to promote it. We set up and launched Cluck’d’s social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, and develop and implement a strategic content plan for a new mid-market chicken shop in Norwich with the purpose of organically growing their following and customer base. We continued to research and monitor their target audience demographics to gain a comprehensive understanding of their prospective customers’ purchasing preferences and tastes to ensure that our social media output was matching Cluck’d’s specific market needs.
The Result
Through collaboration and in-depth research, understanding, and application of marketing techniques and solutions in a specific niche, we were able to successfully build not just an elevated and refreshed brand personality for Cluck’d, but we were also able to create a replicable brand for future franchises flourish and grow.
